Christmas
Pictures from Christmas: Noelle received a drawing pad from her Uncle Dan and Aunt Jami, you can see the beginnings of her drawing here. Of course it is a Monster High character. Then we have my three kids reading a story together, I do love it when they all get along, if only for a moment! The kids had fun opening all their presents, Great Grandma gave them a keyboard, I uploaded a video of Reese having fun with that.

LAST day of school!
The last day of school before winter break is always fun. Reese had a Polar Express pajama party, what better way to watch the Polar Express than in class with all your friends + you get to wear pajamas to school. And of course there was hot chocolate and treats. Noelle's class decorated sugar cookies and since Carson tagged along with me to these events, his sister was kind enough to let him share her desk and decorate his own cookies. 30+ kids combined with sugar cookies, hot chocolate with LOTS of whipped cream = good times! Everyone from parents to teachers to students was in an extra jovial mood of course!! Christmas Vacation is HERE!!!
Carson's Christmas Program
We were rather far in the back, so it's grainy, but here is Carson, putting an ornament on the Christmas tree on stage. He was not overly thrilled to be on stage and was quite relieved when the whole production was over. He also sang "Oh Christmas Tree" and a song about hearing the Angel Voices Sing.

Gingerbread House day 1
Reese's class is taking two days to build and decorate home made Gingerbread houses. He is doing such a good job! We are going to let them dry overnight, then put on the roof and more decorations tomorrow.

Moss Beach Tide Pools
We had a great time visiting Moss Beach, note the starfish below Carson in one picture. The kids enjoyed the sea anenomes (I like to think of them as the ocean's version of a Venus Fly Trap) and trying to find starfish. We also found a very active and large crab, see video.

Library Field Trip
Best part of the field trip: Getting a look at the book sorting machine in the back room. Very cool stuff. Reese and I had a great time, the kids toured the library, checked out books and enjoyed being out of school for a few hours!
